About the role#
As a Research Analyst Intern at The Brattle Group, you will join project teams to work alongside senior consultants and experts. This program allows you to apply economic concepts from the classroom to professional services. You will develop your research and data analysis skills while learning to manage and prioritize tasks in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Build models and create data-based solutions using tools like R, Python, Stata, SAS, Excel, and VBA.
- Conduct data, statistical, and econometric analysis.
- Build interactive dashboards to visualize findings.
- Perform comprehensive research, including market analysis, literature reviews, and document examination.
- Write memos to provide insights and support expert reports.
- Assist in preparing expert reports and presentations for legal and regulatory contexts.
- Research markets, evaluate restrictions to competition, and estimate damages.
- Identify the effects of misinformation on consumer choice.
- Work closely with colleagues at all levels.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, computer science, data science, or mathematics.
- Strong academic performance, typically with a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
- Great teamwork and leadership skills, as project work is done in teams.
- Intellectual curiosity and creativity when approaching problems.
- A high degree of ownership, commitment, and focus on client service.
- Strong communication skills.
