About the role#
As a Research Analyst Intern, you will join project teams to work alongside senior consultants and experts in financial economics, corporate finance, and regulatory economics. This program provides an opportunity to apply classroom concepts in a professional services setting while refining your research and data analysis skills.
What you'll do#
- Build financial, economic, and operational models in Excel, such as valuation models and cost of capital estimates.
- Develop data-based solutions for clients using programming languages like Python, R, SAS, Stata, and VBA.
- Conduct research including financial statement analysis, market analysis, literature reviews, and document examination.
- Write memos to provide insights and support expert reports.
- Assist in preparing presentations and expert reports to explain complex financial concepts in legal and regulatory contexts.
- Collaborate with team members to create solutions for clients.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Computer Science.
- A strong academic record, typically with a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
- General knowledge of finance and an interest in expanding your expertise.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, intellectual curiosity, and creativity.
- A high degree of ownership and commitment to delivering quality work.

- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: The anticipated base gross salary is $1,850 per week.
