About the role#
The Nurse Extern II - Recovery is a developmental program for nursing students. You will gain clinical experience in multiple specialties through a guided training program. This role aligns with the scope of practice defined by the State Board of Nursing.
What you'll do#
- Assist Registered Nursing staff with daily patient care activities.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Observe patient status and report significant findings to a Registered Nurse.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of your first clinical rotation.
- Active AHA BLS certification.
