About the role#
This Nurse Extern position in the CCU is a developmental program for nursing students. You will gain clinical experience across various nursing specialties while assisting the Registered Nursing staff. The role requires participation in a guided training and development program aligned with the scope outlined by the State Board of Nursing.
What you'll do#
- Participate in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation.
- Report significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
- Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients.
- Engage in a guided training and development program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of your first clinical rotation.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
