About the role#
As a Nurse Extern at Spring View Hospital, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to support patient care. This position is a PRN role that allows you to gain hands-on experience while contributing to the health of the local community.
What you'll do#
- Assist professional nurses in providing individualized care to patients.
- Perform designated patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Contribute to nursing assessments and the development of nursing care plans.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the fundamentals of the nursing process while maintaining effective communication and teamwork.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment as a third-year student or higher in a school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of your start date.

- Location: Lebanon, Kentucky.
- Schedule: PRN (as needed).
- This is a paid position.
