About the role#
Qualified Health is looking for a Clinical AI Evaluation Intern to join our clinical team. You will work with our physicians to review, evaluate, and label outputs from our GenAI products. This role focuses on comparing AI-generated clinical content against established standards to help train and evaluate our models. You will receive direct mentorship and feedback from our physicians, and your work will directly influence how our products are built and improved. This is a paid, hourly internship that provides a look into how clinical AI is tested for safety and accuracy.
What you'll do#
- Complete structured quality assurance, evaluation, and labeling tasks on GenAI outputs.
- Review AI-generated clinical content for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to defined criteria.
- Apply consistent judgment across a high volume of work without drifting from the rubric.
- Document your reasoning clearly for the content you review.
- Handle protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Bring questions and blockers to the physician overseeing the work as they arise.
What you'll need#
- At least 3 months of experience as a medical scribe or comparable clinical education (such as nursing, PA, or pre-med studies; EMT, CNA, or medical assistant).
- Working fluency in medical terminology and clinical documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to explain your reasoning in writing.
- Reliable, consistent availability of 20 to 40 hours per week.
- Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto 3 days per week.
