About the role#
We are looking for a Transportation Roadway Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Blue Ash, Ohio. You will work on projects that help move people and goods, contributing to the design and construction of infrastructure that connects our communities.
What you'll do#
- Support our roadway design, airport design, and structural engineering groups.
- Work with our roadway construction engineering teams in the field.
- Conduct basic calculations and assist in developing engineer's estimates.
- Assist the team in preparing CAD drawings and reports.
- Take on other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program for Civil Engineering.
- A strong interest in transportation engineering planning, design, and construction.
- Ability to work with a team on multiple projects and tasks.
- Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills.
- A basic understanding of general concepts in civil design.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.
