About the role#
Our Construction Delay team investigates why major construction projects fall behind schedule or exceed budgets. We examine project timelines, records, drawings, and progress reports to uncover the story behind these delays. You will work alongside experts in engineering, architecture, and construction management to help clients understand complex project challenges on high-profile infrastructure and building developments.
What you'll do#
- Learn how to build, update, and analyze construction project schedules.
- Use tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to explore project timelines.
- Review construction schedules, drawings, reports, emails, and records to identify key facts.
- Analyze large datasets to spot trends and patterns that explain project outcomes.
- Help create expert reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Tackle complex questions using real project information.
- Manage your time across multiple tasks to meet client deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with project management, scheduling, cost controls, or relevant student projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new analytical tools.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- An organized, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

- Location: Burlington, Massachusetts.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour.
