About the role#
As an Economics Intern, you will work on real cases and business challenges. You will join project teams to support experienced case managers, PhD economists, and recent graduates. This role involves turning complex data into clear insights for legal teams and clients. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to high-stakes projects.
What you'll do#
- Dive into real-world data to uncover trends in companies, markets, and industries.
- Support quantitative analysis by gathering, processing, and analyzing data.
- Conduct qualitative market and industry research to explore business issues.
- Turn numbers and research into actionable insights for clients and legal teams.
- Create clear visuals and presentations to explain complex ideas.
- Build technical skills using tools like Excel, R, Stata, or Python.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Experience with Stata, Python, or R, and comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with data through coursework, projects, research, or internships.
- Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and conversation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates, mentors, and project leaders.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship now or in the future.
