About the role#
Our Construction Delay team investigates major construction projects that experience schedule slips or cost increases. We analyze project timelines, records, data, drawings, and documents to determine the causes of delays. You will work alongside experts in engineering, construction management, architecture, and accounting on high-profile infrastructure, power, and utility projects. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Analyze project schedules, drawings, progress reports, emails, and records to identify the causes of delays.
- Use scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to explore project timelines.
- Analyze large sets of project data to identify trends, patterns, and performance details.
- Help turn research and analysis into clear expert reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Accounting, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel as needed, generally under 15%.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
