About the role#
As a Civil Engineer Intern at RailPros, you will work on rail infrastructure projects. You will join our team to gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced engineers and project managers. This role is a chance to apply your academic studies to real-world rail design tasks.
What you'll do#
- Work with the rail design team to develop and improve infrastructure projects.
- Create detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications in collaboration with rail engineers.
- Use Microstation CAD software to build accurate models and drawings.
- Help ensure all designs follow industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Collect and analyze data for ongoing rail projects.
- Communicate project progress and challenges to your team.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control tasks to maintain high standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Roles are based on-site in San Diego, California, or Chicago, Illinois.
- The internship term is rolling.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
