Radiology Technologist Student - PRN

About the role#

This PRN Radiology Technologist Student position provides X-Ray services to patients within a student scope of practice. You will work under direct supervision to gain hands-on experience in a hospital imaging department.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while selecting accurate anatomic and technical parameters.
• Select exposure factors and assist supervising technologists and physicians during various imaging tasks.
• Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain radiation protection and safety standards at all times.
• Assist in keeping the department, procedure rooms, and storage areas clean, safe, and orderly.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited radiology school.
• Valid Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including constant standing and walking, frequent patient moving, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain a safe work environment.

• Schedule: Variable shift, PRN (as needed).
• Education requirement: Currently pursuing a degree in Radiology or related field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering).
