About the role#
Springs Window Fashions is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time Application Engineering Internship during the summer of 2027. This role is based in Long Island City, New York, and involves working directly with our commercial team on project support and professional development. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Use analysis software to help architects and consultants optimize buildings for energy efficiency.
- Run simulations for window shades, including thermal and energy modeling, daylight optimization, and occupant comfort.
- Assist with carbon tracking and green certification compliance.
- Support the training of architectural engineers on simulation and analysis tools.
- Contribute to various application engineering improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree, ideally as a sophomore or junior.
- Academic background in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous internship experience in a relevant field is preferred.
