About the role#
This internship focuses on building AI-enabled tools to track competitive pricing and product placement. You will help create processes to collect, organize, and summarize data from retailer websites to improve business visibility. This role involves working with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and documenting methods for future use.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of an AI-enabled pricing scraper to capture competitive pricing across key retailers.
- Research pricing data sources and define requirements for collecting accurate and timely information.
- Organize scraped pricing data into structured formats for analysis and reporting.
- Monitor changes to product placement, visibility, ranking, and competitive positioning online.
- Research retailer website structures to identify how product placement data can be consistently captured.
What you'll need#
- Previous internship experience in a relevant function.
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree, ideally as a Sophomore or Junior.
- Majors preferred include Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Logistics, or Communications.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.
