About the role#
Springs Window Fashions is hiring an intern for our Information Technology team for the summer of 2027. You will build a system to measure the accuracy of our AI-powered features. This role focuses on identifying quality regressions when models or prompts change. You will work with cross-functional teams and gain experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Build a repeatable system to measure AI feature accuracy.
- Develop golden test sets using 100 to 300 expert-reviewed cases per feature.
- Create scoring logic that includes deterministic checks and calibrated model-as-judge checks.
- Design and implement an on-demand test runner that triggers manually or upon model updates.
- Maintain a trend dashboard to monitor pass rates and quality regressions over time.
- Create a playbook for adding new features and setting release gates.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a 4-year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Working proficiency in Python for building test cases and automation.
- Familiarity with SQL and basic data analysis concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, methodical approach to your work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interview non-technical associates to extract workflow requirements.
- High attention to detail and a willingness to learn our business processes.
