About the role#
Springs Window Fashions is hiring for a Textile Engineering Internship for the summer of 2027. This paid, full-time position is based on-site in Middleton, Wisconsin. You will work with the engineering team to support projects, gain professional experience, and participate in development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Operationalize textile engineering analytics.
- Develop and deploy production-ready applications for analytics, including automated remake analysis, trial planning tools, and predictive modeling.
- Modernize existing Python-based workflows through automation and hosting.
- Create user-friendly interfaces to help the broader engineering team adopt these tools.
- Engage in project support and professional development activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year degree program, ideally at the sophomore or junior level.
- A major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous internship experience in a relevant function is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
