About the role#
This position provides practical experience for students pursuing a career in pharmacy. You will work in a community setting at a locally owned and operated store, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy while receiving real world training to supplement your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Provide an exceptional experience for pharmacy customers.
- Develop skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy environment.
- Enhance your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Expand your knowledge of over-the-counter products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health.
- A focus on keeping the customer at the center of your work.
- Ability to be clearly identifiable to the public while on shift.

- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
