About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students in a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy. This role is designed to help you transition your academic knowledge into real-world practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Handle customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional presence and remain clearly identifiable to the public.
- Provide an exceptional experience for every pharmacy customer.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.
- Gain knowledge regarding OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Develop patient counseling skills and learn the fundamentals of managing a retail pharmacy.

- Current enrollment as a student in a pharmacy program.

- Location: 388 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario.
- Employment type: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
