About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment while gaining real-world training to complement your academic studies. You will be supported by a local Associate-Owner while benefiting from the resources of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Maintain clear visibility to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.
- Develop communication skills by interacting with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Gain knowledge regarding OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- You must be a future pharmacist.
- A strong commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Strict adherence to all privacy requirements.

- Location: 55 Elgin Street W, Arnprior, Ontario.
- Employment type: Part-time, hourly.
- Schedule: Flexible shifts.
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, based on experience and location.
