About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Hamilton. This is a part-time, on-site position. You will support pharmacy operations, focusing on automation, inventory management, and prescription preparation.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports and manage workflow using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches and perform machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory levels and place orders for supplies or specialty items.
- Assist with inventory pre-count preparation and support count vendors.
- Action drug recalls and secure alternative products.
- Prepare medication orders, including labeling, blister packs, and mixtures.
- Follow established workflows to package and ship orders for nursing homes.
- Investigate and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely delivery.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education and a willingness to learn.
- Previous pharmacy experience, specifically with Long Term Care.
- Experience using Kroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, hardworking attitude.
- Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to move quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work in different departments as needed.

- Location: 65 Mall Rd, Hamilton, ON.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Pay Range: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
- Requirements: Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.
