About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to deliver health and wellness services while learning the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. This role provides real world training to complement your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer consent and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain strict customer confidentiality.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop drug therapy and patient counseling skills.
- Learn about OTC products and disease state management.
- Enhance your communication skills with patients and healthcare workers.
- Participate in the practice of pharmacy and learn to manage retail operations.
