About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Sobeys, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations while completing the training required to become a licensed Pharmacist. This role focuses on providing customer care and supporting the daily functions of our pharmacy team in St. John's.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy activities suitable for your current level of education.
- Handle prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Process customer transactions and manage the release of prescriptions.
- Assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Manage drug orders, including creation and receiving.
- Maintain the pharmacy environment through cleaning and supply replenishment.
- Promote pharmacy programs and answer incoming calls.
- Follow all company standards and operational procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
