About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to supplement your academic studies with real world training. What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent while ensuring all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional presence by remaining clearly identifiable to the public.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to build your professional skills.
- Improve your communication with patients, co-workers, and other health care professionals.
- Expand your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Learn the operational skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Current enrollment in pharmacy school.

- Location: 1080 Bank Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
- Role type: Part-time, on-site.
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and knowledge.
