About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student to join our team for 1 to 2 shifts per week. This role focuses on MedsChecks and immunizations. We prefer weekend availability, though we can discuss alternative arrangements based on your schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist in dispensary operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Counsel patients with medication and health-related inquiries.
- Conduct professional services, including MedsChecks and immunizations or injections, under pharmacist supervision.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a CFPC-accredited Pharmacy program and a Doctor of Pharmacy program.
- A valid First Aid/CPR license.
- Ability to work in Canada.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, health professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent focus on concise, accurate documentation.
- Strong time management skills to balance school and work.
- A strong desire to learn.
- Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.
