About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to deliver health and pharmacy services while gaining real-world training to complement your academic studies. The role focuses on learning the evolving responsibilities of a community pharmacist and managing retail pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including consent management and customer confidentiality.
- Maintain clear identification to the public while on duty.
- Develop communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Gain knowledge regarding OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Learn the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing academic experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- A focus on becoming a future pharmacist.
- A commitment to providing a quality shopping experience for pharmacy customers.

- Employment type: Full-time.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
