About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Finance department at Sentry. You will work alongside a dedicated mentor to gain exposure to professional accounting practices. The role includes opportunities to network with leadership and peers through team social events. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn about multiple Finance teams through direct project work.
- Prepare financial statement exhibits and reporting disclosures.
- Review and reconcile financial statements to general ledger data.
- Assist with the automation of financial reports.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial transaction processing.
- Troubleshoot data reconciliation issues.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems and processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field.
- Planned graduation date between May 2028 and December 2029.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
- Progress toward CPA eligibility is highly preferred.
- Note: This position does not offer visa sponsorship for F-1, J-1, or H-1 holders.
Location & details#
- Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship that includes housing and parking support, along with a meal stipend.
