About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with a mentor to learn about the claims process and the role it plays in company success. You will also have opportunities to network with leadership and attend social events.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on insight into claims negotiations and settlement processes to help reach fair resolutions.
- Stand by customers during stressful times and guide them through the claims process.
- Review policy details to verify coverage and policy limits.
- Gather facts and review documentation to understand losses.
- Maintain clear, thorough records of investigations, communications, and steps taken.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communications, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Minimum in-major GPA of 3.00.
- Ability to obtain required licensing as needed.
- Note that this position is not available to holders of F-1, J-1, or H-1 Visas.
Location & details#
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Modality: Hybrid schedule with office days Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
