About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the insurance industry. You will work with a mentor to learn how claims are handled and understand their role in the success of the company. The position includes opportunities to network with leadership and attend social events.
What you'll do#
- Gain insight into claims negotiations and settlement processes.
- Stand by customers during stressful times and guide them through the process.
- Review policy details to verify coverage and policy limits.
- Gather facts and review documentation to investigate losses.
- Maintain records of all investigations, communications, and steps taken.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum in-major GPA of 3.00.
- Expected graduation date of May 2029.
- Ability to obtain required licensing as needed.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
- Note: This position does not offer sponsorship for F-1, J-1, or H-1 Visas.
