Part-Time Manufacturing Internship

About the role#

Sentry is hiring a Part-Time Manufacturing Intern to support the Team Lodge manufacturing team in Watertown. This role provides hands-on experience building custom aluminum mobile ice shacks, home offices, and recreation units. You will gain exposure to electrical systems, insulation installation, aluminum fabrication, and product assembly while working alongside skilled professionals.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the assembly and production of Team Lodge units.
• Install insulation, aluminum paneling, and interior components.
• Support light electrical installation and wiring activities.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Read measurements and assist with layout preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Conduct quality control inspections and assist with final unit preparation.
• Learn manufacturing and construction processes from experienced team members.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in high school, technical school, or college, or an interest in pursuing a skilled trades career.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfort using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Preferred areas of study include Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Construction Management, Manufacturing Technology, Welding, or Building Trades.
