About the role#
The Velocity Program is a customized internship and co-op experience designed to provide professional development within Scotiabank and Tangerine operations. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Toronto, collaborating with various teams to support operational goals and improve client experiences.
What you'll do#
- Partner with internal stakeholders and contact center teams to address operational needs.
- Conduct process mapping and gap analysis to identify and resolve client-related issues.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures.
- Define project scopes and establish metrics to measure the success of new initiatives.
- Support team-wide projects and contribute to broader organizational goals.
- Work with AI-based systems, including chatbots and IVR technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, specifically in Business Administration or Operations Management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to research complex topics and prepare clear reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated passion and a strong sense of ownership.
- Experience with SQL is preferred but not required.
