About the role#
As a Business & Operations Summer Associate, you will join a team that powers the business and long-term success of Capital Group. This program provides hands-on experience through meaningful work, coaching, and mentorship. You will strengthen your analytical and problem-solving skills while gaining a deeper understanding of how a global investment management organization operates. High-performing associates may be considered for conversion into the full-time Business & Operations Track upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic initiatives and contribute to business priorities.
- Analyze data and business challenges to develop actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes.
- Collaborate across functions, including Investment Operations, Investment Enablement, and Global Business Services.
- Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or equivalent.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and a commitment to continuous growth.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and approach complex challenges thoughtfully.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships.

- Comfort working with data and quantitative information.

- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Economics, Finance, and Operations Management.
