About the role#
As a Business & Operations Summer Associate, you will gain hands-on experience supporting teams that power our global investment management organization. You will work on meaningful projects while receiving coaching and mentorship from professionals across the firm. This program provides exposure to various business functions and helps you strengthen your analytical and problem-solving skills. High-performing interns may be considered for conversion into the full-time Business & Operations Track of the Capital Group Rotational Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
You will be placed on a specific team for the duration of the summer. Your work may include:
- Supporting Investment Operations through trade processing, data management, and reporting.
- Partnering with Investment Enablement teams on project management, business analysis, and process improvement.
- Contributing to Global Business Services functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Procurement.
- Analyzing data and business challenges to develop actionable recommendations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve business processes.
- Collaborating across functions to support strategic initiatives.
- Participating in professional development and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or equivalent.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous growth.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and approach complex challenges thoughtfully.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build working relationships.
