About the role#
This Electrical Engineering Co-Op position involves working with signal integrity test systems for high speed twinaxial cable assemblies. You will support our testing operations and contribute to the design of hardware used for product evaluation.
What you'll do#
- Run High Speed Electrical Test (HSET) equipment and report findings.
- Configure HSET systems for specific Samtec products.
- Design multilayer circuit boards to support HSET processes.
- Analyze test data to find root causes of product failures.
- Support global facilities that perform HSET.
- Manage your projects using internal project management systems.
What you'll need#
- At least 1 year of experience performing electrical diagnosis of systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with high level programming languages like Python, C, C++, Rust, or Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
