About the role#
This co-op position supports engineering teams at Franklin Electric. You will work on hands-on technical assignments that bridge the gap between your academic studies and real-world manufacturing, testing, and product challenges. You will work under the direction of experienced engineers to help complete defined projects.
What you'll do#
- Complete specific engineering projects.
- Analyze data and document your results.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of various products and processes.
- Work alongside cross-functional partners.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- You can apply classroom knowledge to practical product, process, and testing challenges.
- You are comfortable working under the direction of experienced engineering staff.

- This position is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid co-op for the Fall 2027 term.
