About the role#
Franklin Electric is hiring a Lab Engineering Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional partners to support our engineering teams through hands-on technical assignments.
What you'll do#
- Complete defined engineering projects.
- Analyze technical data and document your results.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of products and processes.
- Support testing and manufacturing initiatives.
- Connect your academic studies to real-world product and process challenges.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to work under the direction of experienced staff.
- You can handle hands-on technical assignments.
- You are comfortable documenting project results and analyzing data.
