About the role#
Saint Luke's East Hospital is hiring a Nursing Intern for the Medical Telemetry team. This is a paid, part-time position with a PRN schedule. Interns work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to gain clinical experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect care for assigned patients.
- Perform clinical procedures and technical tasks as permitted by unit competency validation.
- Support other members of the health care team.
- Follow the guidance of Registered Nurses in all patient care activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- An expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or the Red Cross.

- This role is located at Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lees Summit, Missouri.
- The position requires on-site work.
- This is a PRN role with a minimum requirement of one shift per six-week schedule.
