About the role#
This is a part-time internship for nursing students at Saint Luke's East Hospital. You will work in the Postpartum and Newborn unit. This position is paid and requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures and patient care tasks.
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with direct and indirect patient care activities.
- Support other members of the health care team.
- Complete technical tasks once you have received unit competency validation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing or Med Surg course.
- Basic Life Support RQI certification.

- Location: Lees Summit, Missouri.
- Schedule: PRN, day shift.
- Employment type: Part-time.
