About the role#
Saint Luke's North Hospital is hiring a Nurse Intern for the Medical Telemetry Unit. This is a paid, part-time position designed for nursing students to gain clinical experience. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to assist with patient care and unit operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures and direct patient care activities.
- Assist with indirect patient care tasks.
- Support other members of the health care team.
- Complete technical tasks following unit competency validation.
- Note that interns are restricted from performing any licensed nursing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- An expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
Location & details#
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: PRN, day shifts, with a minimum requirement of one shift per six-week schedule.
