About the role#
The Quality Engineering Co-op supports quality systems and improvement activities at our Dayton facility. You will gain practical experience in regulated manufacturing, inspection, data analysis, and process validation while helping ensure we deliver reliable medical-device components.
What you'll do#
- Investigate nonconforming material, customer feedback, corrective actions, and process deviations.
- Collect and trend quality data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain quality records, inspection documentation, and controlled procedures.
- Participate in process-validation and qualification activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams on root-cause analysis.
- Assist with internal audit preparation and general quality-system tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in regulated manufacturing and medical-device quality systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to document technical information clearly.

- Compensation: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour.
