About the role#
The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op supports engineering projects in a medical-device manufacturing environment. You will gain hands-on experience with equipment, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes. This role focuses on the technical documentation and production support required to create precision components.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with the design, modification, and documentation of tooling, workstations, and manufacturing equipment.
- Support trials, troubleshooting, and process improvements on the manufacturing floor.
- Create and revise drawings, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Evaluate equipment and processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, and ergonomics.
- Work with Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, and Lightspeed teams to resolve technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with CAD software and basic engineering drawing practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
- Willingness to work directly with production teams.

- Schedule: Full-time.
- Compensation: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour.
