About the role#
Resonetics is looking for a Machinist Co-Op to support the manufacture of medical device components. This role allows you to gain hands-on experience while completing your education. We offer flexible hours to accommodate your current course schedule.
What you'll do#
- Translate part drawings and job instructions into machining methods.
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Perform side operations during machine cycle times.
- Assist other team members and move between machines as needed.
- Follow all manufacturing procedures, quality regulations, and safety rules.
- Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and job performance.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Machine Tool Technology program with a C average or better.
- Strong mechanical and technical abilities.
- Ability to read technical data like blueprints and routings.
- Knowledge of machinist math, GD&T, and inspection methods.
- Understanding of G and M code is preferred.
- Experience with tooling requirements for machine setup is preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and use a microscope for small objects.
- Ability to stand for long periods.

- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience and schooling.
