About the role#
This Engineering Co-Op position supports the Manufacturing Engineering group in Nashua. You will work on smaller scale projects or assist with tasks related to larger manufacturing initiatives. A Manufacturing Engineer will typically manage your daily tasks and project assignments.
What you'll do#
- Measure products using standard metrology practices.
- Compile and analyze data using statistical analysis techniques.
- Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures.
- Support the execution of process and equipment validations including IQ, OQ, PQ, MVP, and TMV.
- Generate and modify manufacturing process documentation per the Quality Management System.
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest potential solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program for Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to lead and provide project status updates.
- Familiarity with formal problem-solving techniques like Cause and effect analysis and 5 Why’s.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and negotiate alignment with stakeholders.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
