About the role#
Resonetics is looking for an AI Automation Engineering Co-Op to help build and implement intelligent automation systems. You will work across manufacturing and business operations to blend software engineering with machine learning. This role focuses on solving engineering challenges to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop AI-driven tools to optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Build scripts and pipelines to automate repetitive engineering and operational tasks.
- Assist in developing machine learning models for predictive maintenance, quality control, and process optimization.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing internal systems like ERP and MES.
- Analyze data from manufacturing systems to find new opportunities for automation.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams.
- Document processes, code, and system architectures.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C++.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- A basic understanding of automation tools, APIs, or scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in manufacturing, robotics, or industrial automation.
- Preferred: experience with computer vision, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools.
Location & details#
- Location: Dayton, Ohio.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on years of schooling.
