About the role#
The Global Audit Services department at Reinsurance Group of America is looking for an intern to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects. This role focuses on strengthening skills in report writing, data analysis, and critical thinking. You will work with internal audit team members and stakeholders across the company to support operational, financial, and compliance audits.
What you'll do#
- Perform testing and walkthrough procedures to assess company compliance with key processes.
- Review and analyze the control structure and document testing results.
- Communicate audit results to process owners and the audit team.
- Assist in drafting reports and work papers, including summaries of audit objectives and findings.
- Propose suggestions to enhance audit procedures for better efficiency and effectiveness.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A desire to learn and an active interest in seeking expertise from others to broaden your business acumen.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
