About the role#
The Procurement Intern will support various procurement activities and the Third-Party Management Framework. You will assist business stakeholders through relationship management processes while gaining exposure to operational procurement strategies.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain vendor scorecards to evaluate performance in quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
- Create and improve dashboards and reporting tools for procurement data and vendor analytics.
- Analyze vendor data to spot trends, risks, and new opportunities.
- Participate in vendor risk reviews to help assess financial, operational, and compliance factors.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support sourcing strategies.
- Document procurement processes and contribute to improvement initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with diverse stakeholders by adjusting your style to meet their specific needs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn quickly when faced with unfamiliar tasks.
- Skill in building and maintaining effective professional relationships.
