About the role#
As a Finance and Business Operations Intern, you will work within the Chief Financial Officer’s organization at Dell Technologies. You will act as a business partner across various functions, including financial planning, treasury, audit, data science, and sales operations. This is a full-time, paid position that offers exposure to executive leadership and potential consideration for the Finance Development Program upon completion.
What you'll do#
- Support business functions as a partner and complete a high-impact project relevant to the business.
- Construct cash flow models to assist sales representatives.
- Improve and create processes for liquidity and cash management.
- Use data analytics to establish sales strategies and increase productivity.
- Design product brochures to align with business model offerings.
- Assess the impact of supply chain and product changes on overall profitability.
- Define targets and metrics to maximize financing yields.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Academic focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Operations Management.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and quantitative analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work well in teams.
- Interest in a career in corporate finance.
- A minimum 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities, student organization leadership, or volunteering.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Round Rock, Texas, or Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
- The internship follows a rolling schedule.
