About the role#
The Private Debt & Equity group at RGA invests in direct debt and equity co-investments alongside strategic partners. We focus on the lower to mid-middle market, typically targeting companies with EBITDA between $10 million and $50 million. This internship offers exposure to the underwriting, analysis, and monitoring practices used within our insurance investment department.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with deal preparation and analysis.
- Manage and maintain the investment pipeline.
- Participate in portfolio analysis and work with internal PD&E systems.
- Support portfolio reporting projects.
- Develop your knowledge of private debt and equity underwriting.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as time permits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program, with a graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A self-motivated and creative approach to tasks.
- Prior experience in private equity, lending, investment banking, or corporate credit is preferred.

- This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Chesterfield, Missouri.
