About the role#
The Access Your Future Service Intern role offers hands-on experience in machinery manufacturing. This is a paid, full-time, rolling internship based on-site in Chandler, Arizona. Interns work alongside experienced technicians to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world equipment service.
What you'll do#
- Shadow skilled technicians during equipment repairs, inspections, and reconditioning.
- Learn and apply preventive maintenance techniques.
- Use diagnostic software to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Document machine details, repair work, parts, and fluids used on service orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace while demonstrating care for tools and equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or related technical program.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Practical experience using mechanical tools.
- Strong computer skills for documentation and diagnostic tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid work authorization for the United States (sponsorship is not provided).
