About the role#
The Access Your Future Service Intern role provides hands-on experience in machinery maintenance and repair. This is a paid, full-time internship that requires on-site attendance in Chandler, Arizona. The program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional service work through mentorship and practical application.
What you'll do#
- Shadow skilled technicians during equipment repairs and inspections.
- Learn and apply preventive maintenance techniques.
- Use diagnostic software to identify machine issues.
- Document machine details, repair work, and parts used on service orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service or Diesel Technology program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience using mechanical tools.
- Strong computer skills.
- Valid work authorization for the United States (sponsorship is not provided).
