About the role#
The Access Your Future Service Intern program supports students pursuing a career as a Service Technician. This role combines paid, on-site internship work with educational support and financial incentives. You will work under a mentor to gain hands-on experience while completing your college program.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a mentor to diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment.
- Document machine information and repairs on work orders, including parts and fluids used.
- Maintain a clean work area and take care of all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations during work assignments.
- Participate in company-sponsored training to develop your technical knowledge.
- Maintain professional relationships with peers and management while providing customer service.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or similar technical program.
- Ability to maintain a 3.0 GPA and an acceptable attendance record.
- Mechanical skills and experience with trade-specific tooling, including hand and pneumatic tools.
- Strong computer, communication, and written skills.
- Ability to perform maintenance functions on equipment.
- Valid work authorization for the United States. This role does not offer sponsorship.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21 to $23 per hour.
- Employment: Full-time status with a rolling term.
