About the role#
This internship connects your classroom learning to real-world experience. You will work alongside mentors to maintain and repair heavy equipment. This is a paid, full-time, rolling internship based on-site in Dayton, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks.
- Learn to use advanced shop tools and technology.
- Document machine details and repair work on service orders.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical service program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid attendance record.
- Experience using mechanical tools.
- Strong computer skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized.
- Valid work authorization in the United States without company sponsorship.
